Every aspect of PCA must have as its purpose to train young people to be like Christ. This is also true of the athletic program; athletics is an integral part of the process of training students for Christ.

Both athletes and fans will learn many invaluable, practical lessons. It is our prayer that we will work together to make the PCA athletic program a tool in the hands of Christ - for His honor and glory.

The word Christian means Christ-like. Christian athletics, therefore, is a competitive event where the objective of the participants is to perform for Christ and bring honor to Him.  Phil. 3:12-14

 FALL 2011

Fall Baseball for ages 9-12.  This team is currently playing in the 11-12 year old division of the developmental league in Franklin County.  All games are played at Waid Park in Rocky Mount. 

Cross Country for elementary, middle school, and high school.  This team will compete in local events as well as VACA conference events.

WINTER 2011-2012

Basketball for boys & girls middle school, boys junior varsity, and boys & girls varsity basketball.   

Wrestling for boys in 4th through 12th grades. 

SPRING 2012

Baseball for 8th thru 12th grade boys.  The addition of this sport is dependent upon the availability of a local baseball field in the spring and the number of students interested.

Softball for 8th thru 12th grade girls.  The addition of this sport is dependent upon the availability of a local softball field in the spring and the number of students interested.  (Adding softball is dependent upon interest, fundraising, and finding game and practice fields.)

Golf There will be local matches as well as middle school and varsity participation in the VACA state tournament.
